MySchoolNotebook targets UK students and school pupils

Czech-based web app myschoolnotebook.com is looking to grow its 25,000 userbase by expanding across the European market, including to the UK.
The app, created by high school student Jakub Roz, allows classmates to make notes on their smartphone or laptop and store them both on their device and on the cloud.
Users can log in using Facebook. The app enables them to share lecture notes with friends, publish to the internet and export to PDF. It also has a graphics function for sketches and quick graphs.
The start-up has funding from Swiss investment company BlackLex.
US representative for myschoolnotebook.com, Dagmar Volfova, said: “Having the support of an investor and also seeing that students have enjoyed the application led us to develop an English version to serve more students all over the world, increase overall IT literacy, and last but not least, bring positive change into learning and teaching style.”
