Beta Bunny
Beta Bunny is a community of 800 UK student beta testers who enjoy exploring and examining new internet technologies and cutting edge media innovations before they reach the mainstream. These are young people regarded as 'early adopters' who are able to evaluate a product's worth and potential in a meaningful way.
Reach Students runs Beta Bunny testing programmes on a not-for-profit basis. We co-ordinate the tests at cost, and the purpose of our involvement is to continue to gain our own insights into the mindset of students. Any profit is invested in continued recruitment and the improvement of the service.
As Beta Bunny is a hobby project rather than business, we are selective over which products we test. We limit tests to around six a year. There are various criteria we look for: how novel and interesting is the product? Will it capture the interest of our testers? What depth and scope of feedback is the client looking for?
To date we have tested: a pre-Facebook social networking platform; a mobile chat application from Dragon's Den's Doug Richard; a digital magazine that arrived before the Ceros format became well known; mobile email from BlueWhaleMail; and blinkBox, a video clip-and-send site
If you have an online application or a website you would like evaluated and experienced by 800 UK students, get in touch.
